Due to the restrictions that college students frequently run into in dorm life, I had to come up with a unique station setup that would portable and as self contained as possible. The solution for me anyways was to mount as much of my gear as I could fit into a milk crate. Where I live we have a creamery that had some old milk crates that they could no longer use, so I picked up a couple to store stuff in (like radio gear) and came to the conclusion that my power supply and radios fit nicely into one crate, why not mount them in the crate and make that my station.
